Location is ok and staff are good.

Rooms were smelly, dusty and not so great to the value what they were asking for.. I will not try here next time.

"Updated and Perfect for Us"

The hotel has been updated and is also getting new windows and siding. Staff was great. The breakfast was very good and the room is bright and large. Fully remodeled. If you are not a camper and want to visit Grand Marais for a beach day, this hotel would be perfect. McDonalds across the street and Pizza Hut next door for a touch of a bigger town. My choice was last minute and very happy we stayed here on our last night in the U P.
