Hotel Nereides

Lovely hotel, modern, clean, fantastic staff.

It’s quite a hilly walk from the port.

Lovely welcome by the family that runs the hotel.

The room was basic, but otherwise fine.

It was clean, very very helpful & lovely staff, large room with lovely view. it was quiet and the swimming pool was lovely.

The property was excellent for a two star. so clean and the room was very spacious.The breakfast was gorgeous too ! The location provided stunning views but a bit of a climb from the harbour. Easy going down on foot but a bit challenging coming back up. We managed it but I would say you have to be reasonably fit. No problem of course if you plan on hiring a car. The staff at the hotel were fabulous….. thank you Corina for looking after us so well.

Lovely family run hotel situated above town, perfect for those with transport or reasonably mobile. The owner, Costas picked us up from the ferry and was on hand to answer any questions. All the staff were really helpful and full of advice.

We were so pleased to be able to return to Hotel Nereides, our first visit since 2016. The staff are amazing and feel like family to us (our 4th stay). Breakfast is wonderful and they have a beautiful pool with an amazing patio/bar.

Big, recently renovated room with good sized bathroom that had closing shower doors ( big plus!). Nice balcony that was private enough, with seaview ( not a direct view, though, as there are some roofs in front of the hotel). VERY comfy bed. Very nice swimming pool with lots of sunbeds. Nice breakfast, everything was always so fresh! Efficient A/C. When it turned out that they cannot fix my balcony light ( a minor thing) they offered to move me to another room, which I appreciate although it was not important enough for me to move all my things :) I was picked up from the port and brought back when I was leaving, it is so important considering hotel's location.

The room was not properly soundproofed, I could hear all the noises other guests were making. Not a big issue but the water in the pool was really cold, it would be nice for it to be a bit warmer. You need to be mindful of the fact that the hotel is about 15 minute solid walk uphill from the port ( mostly stairs). It will not be an issue if you are fit or/and plan to rent a vehicle.

Breakfast could have had more fried eggs...

Staff were very friendly. Pool area lovely. Room very clean. Good breakfast. Hosts collect from and take back to port.

The walk to the hotel from port in the heat was a challenge. Lots of hills and steps. But good to work off beer and food🙂
