My friend and I arrived at the hotel quite late at night after a long drive and the check-in process was easy and accommodating for our late arrival. The room itself was clean, beds were comfortable, and the decor was pleasing if a bit dated (but in a charming way). There were two towels for each of us, ample access to outlets, and tea bags and mugs available for us to have a morning tea.

Unfortunately, though we paid extra for access to a private bathroom, the bathroom had no toiletries available when we arrived. This is not the end of the world, but for the price we paid and my general expectations for a hotel we both assumed that there would at least be body soap and hand soap available in the private bathroom.

The location was perfect for us. We stayed one night. A short walk to the beach, that's what we came for.

Could not lock the doors when leaving , doors to room only lock from the inside and the lock and handle on the front door is broken so couldn’t even lock the front door. Quite at back of house but neighbours had tv on all night which you could clearly hear all night. Arrival instructions were totally wrong, they said there was a code on the door to get in and key would be in the door. Not only were we not at the pub (we were taken around the corner to another house) but the only key we were given was for the front door which was broken. Happy to stay as an adult but wouldn’t bring young kids.

Location is ideal and free parking available . What we needed for a last min accommodation. Check in was all via email and fairly painless...Rooms were as clean as they could be but very dated. The beds were clean and towels provided.

The beds were on uneven floors and uncomfortable. A woman let herself into our room without knocking claiming to be checking the water. I didn't expect shower gel etc as it was a basic room but there was no hand soap which I really did expect. The bathroom was very basic with a broken toilet seat, corroded mirror . The towel pegs were on the wall above the bath. Plug sockets had extension leads running off them. The pub opened late. We left the room to go out at 7.30pm it was still shut and was closing when we came back at around 10.30 The stairs as others mentioned are very steep and the corridors smelt musty. If I were there longer than a night with little notice I'd have been very disappointed with the cost and facilities. But the room served a purpose so it did its job

Too much noise in the corridor with large groups loitering outside our room at very early hours of the morning. We did not get a good sleep which affected our inward travel. No reply from the hosts after they said they would get back to us. The room rate was far too expensive for this type of accommodation.

Commination was good advising of code to enter. And room. And that's were it ended. 10.30 bar shut . no one about when I arrived.. had they i think I'd have checked out and asked for a refund.. was in room 3 second door.. sound insulation non existent. So didn't get a good nights sleep with people walking around and coughing!! especially the wall onto the corridor paper thin.. it was quite a Small room and very basic. I know the size was advertised but .... then the bed mattress may not be that old but not particularly good quality i could feel all springs though the linings . so slept on top of the duvet! Window ahhh that would not shut top right hinge broken.. and locks missing the keepers.. so could hear all the noise out side all night.. bathroom very very small and a the inward opening door makes it very difficult to use sink and shower. Had to laugh.. the sink was so small i couldn't actually the kettle!!! All in all for what I was charged.. £90 totally over priced ... very disappointed..if you are thebowner I'd love a refund!

Car parking.. on road.. that was the best bit!

Close to an almost non-existent town, bus & train station 10 minutes walk, 2 minutes from beach and sea.

The smallest bathroom in the world, no shelves, no towel rail, no slip mat, no toothbrush holder/glass, no chest of drawers or wardrobe to put underclothes, shoes, etcetera, 2 VERY steep flights of stairs to Room. I am so very disappointed that I left 24 hours early. Pwllheli is a dump that the council should be ashamed of.
