Nice message from hosts. Cleanliness. Fan in room as it was hot. Ease of whole stay. Breakfast - good size, quality ingredients. Meaty bacon no fat. Ice in water ! Plenty of pillows. Nice bed. The grounds with picnic benches

Carpet. Carpet always seems dated wherever it is. It was clean but it would take this place up a notch to have wooden floors like in restaurant.

"Excellent stay, only stayed one night for work. room, breakfast and staff all good."

Breakfast was great, I forgot to ask for poached eggs but I'm sure I could have had them. The fried eggs were nice anyway. Room was extremely comfortable and clean.

"A good hotel, can’t knock it, nice and warm breakfast could be served a little later but hey ho."

Lovely property

The bed was a little hard and breakfast could be served a little later. However I must say that the hotel host did make us a lovely breakfast butty to take away which was waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs.

"Good B&B in a rather unremarkable place but very close to the fells"

The breakfast was the best part of the stay. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Our room was extremely small and the bathroom too. The bed was very narrow. No place to set our bags and let garments dry out. Surrounding nit very attractive. Lots of rain
