"I expected more from such a well presented pub"

Location, look and feel. Comfy seats and surroundings. Good en-suite. Bedroom presents well decor very good.

Bedroom was cold and dark. In the bedroom Lights had ultra low energy bulbs. Had dinner lamb was well done rather than rare, portion size optimised. I ended up going up the road to the co op for a sandwich. At breakfast took me ten minutes to find a member of staff to sort. I added breakfast to the booking at £20, suggest you don’t do this. I had a bacon sandwich, coffee out of a jug and orange juice from concentrate.

A very pleasant pub with a good atmosphere the dining room is very nice and the food was excellent
