Nice room

Price and quality of food. If I stayed again i wouldn't eat or drink in the pub which is a shame because then you have to drive

Good location for what we needed. The shower was hot and strong.

The rooms may have been considered boutique when first decorated, but now showing signs of wear. There were water stains on the walls from the shower in the room above. Our shower leaked, and had tacky upvc plastic stuck over the bottom rows of tiles with stained sealant. There was no mirror in the bedroom, with very inadequate lighting, so blow drying hair and applying makeup was difficult. Resorted to using a hand mirror in front of the window. The staff seemed reluctant to serve, had very little interaction skills, although I do have praise for one waiter in the evening, but he was the only one. We began to feel as if they would prefer if the visitors weren't there. The full English breakfast was poor, overcooked sausage and bacon (one slice of each), although the avocado with poached eggs and chorizo was very good. Overpriced bar prices. Would I stay again? No!/
