Dos Aguas Lodge

Great to be back after 5 years. Staff is still as friendly, breakfast and food as yummy- and lodge clean and well-designed. Rincon Del Mar forces you to take the day as it comes and is a great way of detoxing and deconnecting.

Everything ! The beach view from the restaurant /breakfast, the room was nice and confy, the staff was extra nice, the food was delicious (vegetarian pasta "carbonara" sssoo good, and they have gluten free pasta i coudl eat) the drink as well, the music fit the vibes. I had some of my best sleep there probably due to the near beach air /sound, so relaxing! And the sunset from the beach, amazing!

Just wow! The location is fantastic, right on the beautiful white sandy beach. We were amazed as we entered the lodge, the interiors are stunning, the room was huge and the bed so comfortable. There are double sinks, a mosquito net and there was water provided. The room opens out onto the sand and there is a relaxing area with hammocks to relax in, right next to the river. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful, they really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. You step right out of the lodge and onto the beach where you can use the paddle boards and relax on the beach. In the evening we had cocktails at happy hour and watched the sunset as well as a storm in the distance! Stay at Dos Aguas for a slice of paradise!

Beautiful room- grateful for the ceiling and floor fans because it was HOT and humid during my visit. The design of the room is very well ventilated. Also happy for the mosquito net but I did not notice an abundance of mosquitos (I used the provided plug in repellant which I guess works very well!). Excellent, helpful, happy staff and adorable gang of beach dogs who I would think were also on staff if I didn't know any better. Really good cocktails and food. Best of all, Dos Aguas connects you with locals who provide activities in the area and this was my absolute favorite part - I did a great hike through the tropical dry forest (which wasn't dry after heavy rains but gorgeous and interesting) and the perfect yoga class. They are super close to a dive center and I enjoyed a day of scuba and also got a massage. I spent some time just lounging in the beach chairs in front of the lodge and floating in the warm ocean. People do approach you to sell things and they are so friendly and not aggressive at all. I tried some sweet treats and got some cute jewelry. It was just great!

Because of the room setup, it can be a bit noisy at times during the night, but wasn't too bad overall
