I know folks are suspicious of glowing reviews but this is defintely a hotel I would go back to. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Good room. Lovely location.

It’s in a lovely peaceful location and the rooms are beautiful and exceptionally clean. There were difficulties during my stay which was unfortunate, however beyond the hotels control. A storm has caused a power cut and the restaurant wasn’t available but the team said it if I wanted to order in they would supply me with plates, cutlery, etc. As a result the water also stopped working which was a consequence of the electricity issue. There was Intermittent power cuts too. The staff were all very apologetic, I wasn’t offered any compensation nor did I ask for any as on a whole I wasn’t badly affected as I needed an early night. I dare say others may of complained but I can’t comment on that. Breakfast was lovely the following morning as was the server who had great customer service. I want to stress while no ideal on this occasion it was all beyond the hotels control and I look forward to going back and having what i certain will be a perfect stay.
