Fox & Hounds Hotel

Historic building with close proximity to access moor.

Large car park. The staff at the bar provided excellent service.

The food was inedible.

The evening meal and the breakfast were superb. The hotel was close to a waterfall that we wanted to walk to. Staff were excellent and there was a relaxed friendly family atmosphere. While the decor was a little dated the Hotel was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable.

Food fantastic, staff very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money.

Mattress was a little soft for me.

A great English pub in a good location for Exmoor National Park walks, Staff very friendly and helpful, Breakfast superb as were evening meals, Room had all amenities needed and well presented, Parking definitely no problem.

Very good value for money. Nice quiet room around the back of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Very nice staff. Good location for this area of Devon.

Unfortunately we arrived too late for evening meal.

Lovely oldy worldy inn. Very clean and the staff are all brilliant. We had a meal which was also very nice as was breakfast.

Could do with a touch up here and there but on the whole it was good.
