Staff and evening meals erred outstanding. Will definitely stay there again next time I’m working in Hamilton.

Room wasn’t huge but it was fine for my needs.

Friendly owners. Good for families. Tea and coffee in the rooms.

Limited breakfast options for vegans.

Breakfast was very basic, furnishings old style but clean.

This is a thoroughly unpleasant hotel. Please avoid! Décor is stuck in the 70’s, my bed was very un-comfy, single glazed window did not close, leaving a lot on noise from the main road. After a terrible night’s sleep, I was 2 minutes late for breakfast, to be told breakfast is “closed”. Not great service. Safe to say, I won’t be staying there again! PS. Place is full of free Palestine bull s—t. So, if you are offended, not the place for you.

Perfect for the single night, single traveller stay. Single room small but as expected for an Inn type hotel. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Easy parking. Bar and restaurant were very good with good choice, quality and portions of food for evening meal. Very full options for continental breakfast that should meet anyone's requirements. Hotel owner and wife were very hospitable and couldn't do enough for you. If you like whiskey I doubt you will find a better selection anywhere and the malt whiskey of the day was very reasonably priced. In short, if you are looking for a simple, but comfortable room for a night or two at a very reasonable price you won't be disappointed.

Room was excellent, plenty of drawer space and clean and comfortable. Great host who was friendly, chatty, and informative. Excellent bar - especially if you're a whisky lover. Very short walk to the train station for half hour trip into Glasgow. Good choice at breakfast.
