Unable to leave the property as they lock the doors between certain hours with no access to the key. Felt prisoner like & a fire risk surely.

Excellent buffet breakfast. Staff very helpful

We had no problem with having to be back in the hotel before 12pm, however, it could have been made a bit cleared before booking.

Only real issue is the breakfast it’s really not upto scratch but that’s the literal only issue

The hosts were friendly and greeted the guests whenever we came in or down to breakfast. The continental breakfast came with tea or coffee and a decent choice of food. Hamilton West Railway Station was only 5 minutes around the corner with a large Sainsbury's next to the station. The bed was very comfortable. The only minor drawback was the shower pressure, which was quite low, but was still perfectly adequate.

Having to leave the key at the front desk and not having access after midnight was a bit of a nuisance, but just required a bit of planning. This isn't a deal-breaker, though. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The hosts were good and talkative and the bar area looks inviting.

The rooms where dated and tired and the shower area needed regrouting and silicone the lamp didn't work the beds where old and creeky.
