Beautiful location at unspoiled Caribbean beach, very private and well designed eco-resort & beach club currently with only 2 rooms. Unbeatable service and great food. Thank you Carlos, Alex, Antonio and Lucio!

Mosquitoes after sunset and plastic garbage at neighbour beaches, none of them under Hayhu´s control unfortunately.

super remote place in the middle of nature. only 2 rooms, so super private. nice food, cocktails and vibes awesome staff: we had a breakdown with the car and they spent one hour trying to fix it!

no AC so it can get very hot at night. many trash on the beach.. even if the beachfront of the hotel is well maintained

Great isolated and quiet location. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with every issue I had. Amazing views from rooms. Breakfast was excellent. A place with great potential.

The rooms need to be insulated in some shape or form. I was constantly cold when I was there in December due to a constant draft in the room as there were gaps in the walls/ceiling. Might be good for ventilation when it's hot, but very bothersome when it's not. I read that people were complaining about the room being too hot in the summer, so proper insulation and an AC would fix all issues for the customer's comfort. The gaps also led to mosquitos being in the room constantly. The smell from the sewage system was also very off-putting, especially when you're supposed to have dinner. Dinner was overpriced, and small portions, limited vegetarian options, although once they made me a veggie burger that wasn't on the menu and was super tasty. Maybe put in in the menu permanently? Atm, the high price for the room is not justified for what you get.

Very nice location with very nice and caring staff. Great place to relax!

Probably a slight edge too expensive when it comes to food and drinks, but given the place and availability, it‘s understandable.

A very private, original concept and well kept place. Both food and staff were outstanding. Staff was helpful and accommodating at all times, being very attentive to our needs. The location was remote with the beach in front of us and the jungle behind, exactly what we were looking for, a unique experience.

Unfortunately the beach had a lot of Sargassum, slightly dampening an overall outstanding experience. This is obviously no reflection on the staff, who did what they could to keep the beach as Sargassum free as possible.

we loved that it is in the middle of the jungle with beautiful architecture very private and you don't have to go out because there is excellent food and drinks right there. There are only 2 rooms so that gave us a feeling of privacy which was unique! From sunrise to sunset the views in HayHu are incredible.

There is a lot of trash in all of Mahahual, and the beach at HayHu is no exception, it is very sad to see that they only put it aside but don't pick it up so it was pretty upsetting to be in such a remote place surrounded by beautiful nature but still surrounded by trash and sargazo. They leave the sargazo on the edge and it is very unpleasant and can even smell because it starts to rot.
