Location was fantastic

There seemed to be a lot of ‘rules’ around checking in. Everything felt a little bit strict and serious.

The whole place was clean and modern. The location was perfect, a small walk from everywhere. We didn't see any staff as there is no reception, just key boxes and codes. The carpark is just to the rear and very reasonably priced, about £7 for 24hours.

Didn't have breakfast, location great especially direct access from carpark or street. Very clean and comfortable.

Bathroom could have been warmer and option to switch bathroom light on or off would have been good but thats a very small 'didn't like' and just a suggestion!

No facilities

Shower was scolding hot couldn't change temperatures

Great location and very clean room

Unable to use shower as water was far too hot and unable to adjust to a usable temperature. We did call the contact number but manager was unable to attend as was on his own manning the bar at The Black Lion (sister pub). He sent the cleaner round who was as helpful as possible but when she left and we tried to use the shower it was still far too hot. After reading previous reviews it would appear this problem has been reported before.
