Anukama Resort

This was one of our favourite hotels across a 3 week Sri Lanka trip. The pool was a real highlight at Anukama, set amongst a verdant garden and we had a wonderful time lounging there in the July heat. The room was also comfortable with good size beds and air conditioning. All the staff were really friendly and great with children and we all enjoyed the breakfast choices. It's a short walk to a beautiful beach with a good choice of restaurants and activities.

There could be a few more sunloungers around the pool perhaps and it would be great to have filtered water available to reduce plastic bottle use. Not the hotel's fault - but there was quite a lot of litter on the lanes and beaches in nilaveli which was a shame - maybe the hotels and businesses locally could collectively try to address this.

Super fijne en mooi ingerichte Cabanas aan het zwembad. De hele staf was geen moeite te veel. Ze willen dat je fijne dagen hebt. Heel luxe dat je je drankje en hapje ook aan het zwembad kon laten brengen. Ook fijn dat ze vervoer regelen naar waar je maar heen wil. We hebben genoten!

Het ligt rustig, er is niet veel ‘leven’ om het resort heen. Maar wij vonden het wijkje erom heen daarom juist erg leuk. Er liggen ook kleine restaurantjes en een paar bakkertjes door de wijk heen. Leuk te combineren met eten in het resort en op het strand.

5 Minuten zum Meer. Schöne Anlage. Bungalow Zimmer sind schön groß. Ich würde es empfehlen aber es gehört vieles verbessert, gerade da man am Meer als Gast doch länger bleibt.

Personal sollte dringend Englisch lernen und man merkt dass ihnen Erfahrung fehlt. Zimmer müssen besser gereinigt werden, vor allem Bad und Spinnweben an Wänden. Im Restaurant steht viel Personal rum und tut nichts, während nur einer arbeitet. Wartezeit im Restaurant ist lange, obwohl nichts los war. Man muss am Tag vorher bekanntgeben wann man frühstücken kommt. Das gehört geändert. Gäste sollte so lange schlafen dürfen wie sie wollen. Pool liegen gehören ordentlich geputzt. zeker oke locatie, propere kamers, soms rook het er wel een beetje naar afvoer. hotel is mooi gelegen en heeft op het dak een knap uitzicht over de omgeving, de staf is jong, maar zoals altijd in SL super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

het ontbijt is eerder magertjes... betalen met creditcard ging ook niet makkelijk. we hebben uiteindelijk geld moeten afhalen omdat de voorziening niet werkte.

Het zwembad was geweldig! De huisjes zijn sfeervol ingericht en mooi gelegen rondom het zwembad. De bediening is super vriendelijk. Het resort ligt op loopafstand van het strand en een paar leuke restaurantjes (Reez en Vitaminbeach).

Een waslijn naast het huisje om je badkleding / handdoek te drogen.

Het zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel, de grote schone kamers en de lokatie vlakbij strand en vele strandrestaurants en bars. Personeel is behulpzaam bij alles. Van het regelen van vervoer, excursies tot aan de kleding die je gewassen wilt hebben. Niets is teveel. Ze lachen altijd ♥️

Eigenlijk is alles goed. Alleen een paar extra bedden bij het zwembad zou prettig zijn.

We just stayed 4 nights at the Anukama resort in Nilaveli. We had a truly wonderful time! The resort itself is a true paradise with beautiful accommodation, a lovely garden setting with all tropical plants and a wonderful pool. It's just a short walk to the beach and close to crocodile lake. Nice little restaurants at walking distance, but also good food at the resort. Great Breakfast also! But by far the best feature is the staff! They do everything to make your stay memorable. Kindness and friendliness from the goodness of their hearts! They were fantastic to our kids, made them feel home and safe. They make this place absolutely great. I hope that many more will enjoy their hospitality!

It was quiet and clean. The staff were friendly. The main boy the restaurant was very friendly, always with a smile and helpful. My kids had a great time staying here.

Le personnel très agréable. Le lieu charmant avec les cabanes. La grande piscine. Les plats proposés au restaurant sont très bon et bon rapport qualité/prix. Une attention particulière pour les enfants avec une activité proposée. Les enfants ont adoré leur séjour (des menus enfants adaptés)

Le rapport qualité/prix de la chambre semble un peu cher. Peut être est ce dû à la haute saison... L'ambiance au resto assez plate (sans musique) ce qui fait qu'il n'y avait pas grand monde alors que c'est bon. Les lumières extérieures non allumées autour de la piscine/cabanes ce qui peu être dangereux (obligé d'utiliser son portable)
