The staff were lovely, the location was perfect and the breakfast set us up for the day.

We asked to move rooms as ours was filthy, the carpet was really badly stained, there were stains all over the walls, the glass on the shower was filthy, it obviously hadn't been cleaned for some time and definitely not before our arrival. I'm not a fussy person and I've certainly stayed in some pretty rough hotels, but this room was bad. The new room was clean, spacious and l only wish we had been given this one first and it would've been a far better experience. Like l said the hotel is in a great location, the cafe is lovely, the staff are great, maybe they just need to hire more cleaners?

Excellent value for money, central location. Single rooms were clean and well presented. Ideal for an overnight stay after a gig.

When we checked in the bloke said 100 pound deposit .. we was only staying 1 night and we would get it back in 3 days .. day 21 still not received

Very comfortable bed , excellent staff

Need a bigger shower screen or shower curtain due to water going on the floor while having a shower , bath mat supplied tho
