The property was outstanding. The service was great. The location was very nice. Mr Gurmehar is an excellent host. I frequently visit Amritsar and so far this is my stay with family ever. My pets were also allowed tonplay in the property. Also, there were some more details to visit Darbar sahib which we were unaware of, was preached my Gurmehar ji... All in all I was having a great time while staying there.

The only and the only bad thing was the pricing of food. The price of was exceptionally high. A simple tawa roti was for 30 bucks. 60 for a tawa parontha and 150 for a gobhi parantha. I have had more items ordered but looking at the price charged against every item was literally very high. Thats the only minus point other wise we have had the best time staying at de manoea homes and I wouod love to recommend everyone for this propoerty.

Owner personally ensured to meet us. Guide us during our stay. And kept constant communication ensuring we experience the best of Amritsar. He is a very knowledgeable man who can cater to create a personalised itinerary for your personal preferences. The establishment is well equipped and gives a homely experience. Very straightforward and genuine. Just like the name suggests. Thank you Mr Gurmeher Singh for taking great care of our comfort at your establishment.

Wish the parking was bigger. But more neighbouring properties would need to be acquired. Thus, we hope your beautiful abode grows with your love and care. We wish you the best!

In terms of the property itself all was good: I missed a window in my room and fresh air, and liked the garden; taking an Uber to and from the property was easy (eg. to Harmandir Sahib); and the staff were friendly and kind. I had a driver Hargurudev for two very significant personal trips, who I recommend most highly. In terms of the owner Gurmaher I'd give double excellent if possible. I had a medical emergency whilst staying there and he took care of me throughout - under instruction from my son in UK and sister - got me to hospital, brought me what I needed, kept an eye on things, and welcomed me back to the guesthouse and helped with onward travel. Above and beyond is the expression that comes to mind, and I am eternally grateful to him, his family and staff.

The highlight of our visit at this homestay was the engagement with our host. He was extremely helpful, friendly and gave us a generous amount of his time explaining the Golden Temple and Sikhism. While not 5 star, we can highly recommend this place for a more authentic Indian experience for overseas travellers. Great value for money and clean 🤩

Stayed here during our 2 day trip to Amritsar (9-10 Feb 2026) and had a great experience. The host was very welcoming and patient even though we arrived late, and parking was already arranged which was really helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. All amenities worked properly and instructions were clear. The best part was the host helping us plan our itinerary, from visiting the Golden Temple smoothly to recommending excellent local food spots. It genuinely made the trip easier and more enjoyable. Convenient location and a very comfortable stay overall. Would happily stay here again on my next visit to Amritsar.

I recently had a truly exceptional experience at this Airbnb/Homestay. It perfectly balances the comfort and personalized feel of a homestay with the premium construction and design of a high-end hotel. The entire place is incredibly well-designed and executed, providing every comfort you could need at a very reasonable price. Location & Convenience: Prime Location: Easily walkable from the Amritsar Railway Station, which was a huge plus for me. Golden Temple Access: It's just a quick and inexpensive tuk-tuk ride away from the Golden Temple, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The Best Part: While the accommodation itself is stellar, the highlight of my trip was the time spent with Gurmehar Singh. His detailed and insightful explanation of the Golden Temple's history, significance, and architecture was a truly invaluable experience and made my visit to the site so much more meaningful. If you are looking for the absolute best hotel/homestay experience in Amritsar—combining quality, comfort, location, and genuine hospitality—look no further! Highly, highly recommend.

Great place to stay with family for a short trip in Amritsar. The owner Gurmehar ji will personally take care of all your requests and take his time to guide you about known as well as hidden treasures of Golden Temple and Amritsar. The stay was made memorable one thanks to his guidance.

Location was little away from GT... but no issues is transport anytime of the day.
