The Stay at De manora was super. we had seen the previous review and with 5* rating we were sure it would be good, however from our personal stay as well it was an excellent decision for us to stay at this place. Gurmohar the host of the hotel is very good, kind and helpful person he gives all the information about Golden temple, and other locations, what food to try shopping all detials.

The owner was very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful with tips on planning the day's itinerary (along with a beautiful illustration on the Golden temple's history). All the rooms are on the Ground floor, so there's no pain of carrying suitcases up and down the stairs. As a homestay, it met all the expectations one would have for a neat, affordable and memorable stay. We'll definitely come back here next time.

The weather was extremely chill when we went so the room heater wasn't sufficient to heat the whole room. I recommend anyone else travelling to ask for two room heaters if one is not enough. Everything else was great! This isn't a hotel with 24 hours room service, so one would need to manage expectations accordingly to a homestay.

The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable stay. The staff was very cooperative and well behaved and the owner was just awesome. Apart from the stay, we got new learnings on Harminder Sahib which we were not aware of. Will definitely recommend this property to all others who are planning to visit Harminder Sahib.

I had a wonderful experience at De Manora homestays. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Amritsar. Would definitely send a friend there. One of the best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. USP’s are, amazing staff that is friendly and makes customers feel welcome. The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They also were able to recommend places to get any type of meal that we needed as well, specially the owner himself Mr Gurmehar Singh who also explained the history and significance of Golden temple so beautifully which made the visit to the temple more memorable. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy.
