Location was perfect, staff went above and beyond, the rooms were impeccable and beds so comfortable, absolutely loved our stay here, will return again and stay longer next time!

"Great central location and good value for money"

The hotel was very close to the old town and the bridges. Other than refusing to change the booking for the previous night that we made last minute, and couldn’t make because of road closures and typhoon, the staff were friendly and helpful about the hotel and about riding up Mt Norikura. The free bar of the evening was good too.

The beds were on a platform so when getting up in the middle of the night for the bathroom it can be easy to trip over. The onsen was not as clean as other places we stayed.

"Nice place close to old twon"

Proximity to the old town. The common area has a community vibe. Free drinks in the evening.

Too cater towards western tourists. Wish they could keep more traditional Japanese culture
