Perfection in everyway. An elegant property with warm professional hosts. With a pool overlooking breath taking views of the ocean, all set in tranquil garden this is the perfect place to relax and recharge. And if you venture out the picture perfect silent beach a 10 minute walk. Thankyou for the sea view upgrade. We appreciated every minute of our stay with you. We will definitely reccomend your beautiful villa and will when we come back to Sri Lanka this is the first accomadation we will book.

The balcony area is lovely and we could see the sun rising over the ocean. The soporific sound of the waves is so relaxing! Amazing, generous breakfasts.

The early 1000 checkout..

Everything about Villa Lucky Star was perfectly adequate. It was quiet, the pool was good to have and there were lots of nice places to sit in the garden.

It is on a headland but there is no way to access the beach from the hotel. Once outside the hotel it is only a 3 or 4 minute walk to Goyambokka beach. The town of Tangalle is about 2km away. (not that Tangalle is very exciting!) Hard to put a finger on why we didn't love this place but it felt tired. Thin towels, chipped tiles in the pool, no filtered water available in rooms. Everything was adequate, nothing was brilliant.

Our stay was wonderful! Its very calm and nice villa with the best view situated perfectly between two most pretiest beaches in Sri lanka. It has a nice slow vibe, the rooms are big and clean and the breakfast and dinners are amazing! We also likeed the nice and kind stuff and very nice garden with a pool!

Lucky Star Villa is a wonderful place on a cliff with picturesque beaches around. The owner Lisa is very friendly, she helps to solve all the issues and it is very pleasant to communicate with her. The villa's chef prepares gourmet dishes and deserves 10 out of 10.

We stayed at Villa Lucky Star for just two night and we would have stayed longer if we could have. To find this hidden gem (no indication/sign outside), just trust google maps or follow the direction/description of Lisa, the general manager. Also Ursula, the owner, is such a lovely person. There are two most beautiful beaches (Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach) in walking distance from the villa. You get beach towels from the villa. On the beaches sun beds were offered for free if you buy a drink or eat something. On Goyambokka beach we especially liked the Yellow Mellow bar. Beside the mentioned beaches you can also enjoy the villa’s fantastic garden with sun beds facing the ocean and the pool. You also should have dinner at least once at the villa. Thisara, the cook, offers every night two options of dishes, that have been always very yummy. To mention last but not least, is the breakfast in one of the villa’s Cabanas - just amazing (the breakfast and the view). Our room was very clean, lovely decorated with a super-nice balcony with seating area and sea view. So, if you want to visit Tangalle, don’t hesitate to stay at Villa Lucky Star. We will definitely come back.
