Hidden Garden Tangalle

Set away from the beach and the strip in a quiet location with a lovely pool and of course garden. Some rooms look better than others, we were lucky to have a top floor room above the trees with nice views of the many birds and always a breeze. Very good breakfasts and excellent coffee.

Shower was hit and miss. As many showers are in Sri Lanka.

Lovely little resort in Tangalle. I loved the pool area and that we could use the canoe to explore the mangroves. The staff and particularly the owner is extremely friendly.

Ein tolles Hotel mit grossem Garten nur 20 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und die Moskittonetze mit den 4 Bettpfosten super gelöst. Der Pool hat eine angenehme Grösse und ist sehr sauber. Der Gaerten wird täglich gehegt und gepflegt und das kleine Restaurant am Rande der Lagune ein echter Kraftort. Das absolute Highlight sind die gratis Kajak um die angrenzende Mangroven Lagune zu erkunden. Ob es wirklcih keine Krokodile hat, bezweifle ich jedoch trotz entsprechender Aussage des Hotelpersonal. Trotz 2 Meter hohen Wellen, sind wir täglich im Meer geschwommen. Für Nichtschwimmer und Kinder jedoch sicher weniger geeignet. Es hat aber mehrere Wellenbrecher, welche für etwas mehr SIcherheit sorgen.

Wir haben nichts vermisst und waren mit dem Hotel mehr als zufrieden.

Toller Pool und Garten, sehr kinderfreundlicher Besitzer

Emplacement un peu l’écart de la plage (200m à peine), dans un magnifique jardin avec vue sur la mangrove. Piscine très très agréable. Chambres très spacieuses, petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. L’établissement prête des canoës pour se balader sur la mangrove. C’est un établissement assez récent. Nous recommandons ++.

Le staff très serviable. Le petit déjeuner. La situation proche de la plage. Le cadre sauvage, intime et paisible: l’hôtel est entouré de la lagune que nous avons pu explorer gratuitement à l’aide de kayaks.

a perfect place to relax, go to the beach or on the lagoon (free kayaks!) very nice staff and good breakfast we even stayed longer than originally planned
