Hidden Garden Tangalle

Hidden away just from the main beach road, Hidden garden is a beautiful and tranquil haven to relax surrounded by nature. Our room was spacious, clean with air conditioning and fridge. Although the balcony is shared this wasn’t a problem for us. We loved sitting watching the birds, monkeys and even a giant squirrel pass by. Location is ideal close to the beach, restaurants and a small convenience shop. It was super easy to hop in a Tuktuk to venture further along the coast. The hosts sachini and her family were so lovely, breakfast was generous and delicious. The pool area is beautiful we spent lots of time relaxing here at the end of our long adventure through Sri Lanka Last but not least we wanted to mention the added benefit of having the kayak. This is such a wonderful way to explore the mangroves.

Peaceful place close to the beach. There is a very beautiful garden and the staff is most welcoming and helpful. Also, if you like yoga, there’s a yoga school operating in the hotel area.

Das Zimmer war geräumig, klimatisiert und es gab einen großen Kúhlschrank. Das Bett war bequem. Die Anlage war ruhig. Das Frühstück morgens war sehr umfangreich und gut. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Der Nachbar verbrannte am Nachmittag seinen Múll. Und die Klimaanlage sog den Gestank in das Zimmer ein. Aber dafür kann der Betreiber des Secret Garden ja nichts. Man musste nachmittags einfach die Klimaanlage für ein paar Stunden ausmachen und den Deckenventilator nutzen.

All the reviews are very consistent about the high quality of this place including the garden and pool and location and large size of rooms. It is a very private place. There are lots of good restaurants close by. Pick me app works in this area.

Bel hôtel, situé sur la plus belle partie de Tangalle. La piscine est superbe et très propre. Le jardin est magnifique. Mention spéciale pour la possibilité de faire du canoë gratuitement dans la mangrove.

We absolutely loved the pool and serene surroundings. Very relaxing with the hammocks. We had a 7 month old baby and the 2 female staff couldn’t be lovelier to her. The breakfast was amazing and varied. Free kayaks if you want to go out onto the river. Such a great location too with the best part of Tangalle beach close by and the beach restaurants.

Staying on the top floor, with a baby and buggy was a bit annoying. But we should have requested not to, didn’t realize.

Toller Garten, großer Pool, nahe Strand, an der Lagune (kostenlose Kayaking), sehr gutes Frühstück, hilfsbereite und gut informierte Chefin

Toller Garten an der Lgune mit vielen Tieren (Echsen, Affen, Vöge). Nahe zum Strand mit Restaurants. Ruhig. Gute Betten mit intaktem Moskitonetz. Sauber, insbesondere im Bad. Würden wir wieder buchen.

Keine trockenen Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad. Nur 1 Stuhl zum Tisch. Service (Müllbesitigung, Moskitocoils, Teller für Obst etc.) nur auf Nachfrage. Achtung, google.maps führt zum Hintereingang,. 200 m Koffer schleppen.
