we arrived at the site on a Saturday afternoon of our 5th day of our 120 km 5 day hike. My brother was quite ill and we were not able to recieve any medical attention nor was the any transport possibilities . luckily the lady in charge spent some half hour on the phone on our behalf and when this did not give an adequate solution she drove me some 25 km to the closest emergency pharmacy. Incredible service and an act of beautiful kindness to strangers

The bed was just a foam block wasnt very comfortabel

The room is small with basic features as expected but Clean and Tidy. The lady at the reception was very cool and friendly in nature. it was a peaceful sleep in the middle of a beautiful city.

Price could be little bit cheaper.

cleanliness in wash room , heating was not good , only one power connection for four people

we aimed for simple quality / value for (little) money, in a great area in the middle of the Schwarzwald. This was utterly and completely true. The hostess turned out very friendly especially when we discovered she was of same origin as my wife’s. In the following ‘home’-language conversation a lot of helpful info was shared also for winter holiday.

pity that the balcony maintenance was lagging, therefore for safety reasons closed.

for a room without its own bathroom, this was good
