Pousada Ria - Aveiro

Location, we did stay an extra night. The food was good.

The hotel really needs a makeover, it's pretty tired. Also I really didn't like the amount of tax added to everything, it should have made it clear tax was to be added.

The breakfasts were exceptional - there was nothing wanting except for lactose-free milk which my friend required but that was no problem - we just bought some at the supermarket in Ovar which was fine. The staff was wonderful in this regard - we needed to check out before breakfast was served the last day and they put together two breakfast boxes for us which was more than we expected!

The times set for breakfast and dinner were late (8am and 8pm). I'm an early riser and an early-to-bed type. but I understand these times are very "Portugese" and so can't complain.

Antes a ser melhorado: Atenção ao espaço exterior com enorme potencial e que não tem tido a atenção que merece e que poderá melhorar a experiência de forma exponencial.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang, persönliche Begleitung zum Zimmer, Ambiente super, wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Aussicht fantastisch, Pool klein aber fein, sehr schön.

Great location and really easy to get to the ferry for Aveiro

Breakfast was lovely but felt the restaurant could have been better although served nice wines
