Wellness hotel Harmonie Třeboň

Great location and had a nice sized locked bicycle parking area. Breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. The staff didn't speak English, and we didn't expect that since we knew this was more of a Czech holiday location. That was ok since they gave us a detail sheet written in English. So, no worries there. All in all a nice place to stay except for our issues with the wellness portion. The restaurant attached was Chinese which is rare here and it was quite good.

Not really a "Wellness" facility. It didn't seem that the advertised wellness features were operational (except for the outdoor pool) and they definitely wouldn't have been as relaxing as implied in the writeup because there's lots of commotion in and near the area of the wellness features. The hotel appeared to be understaffed, which was probably the reason and is becoming a common issue in the service industries unfortunately. So, it's hard to know what the real reason was. Maybe the equipment couldn't work in the heat of the summer. The pool area was ok but had very few chairs so that meant very few people could enjoy the area. We booked 2 nights there thinking we would enjoy relaxing in the wellness areas. But we still enjoyed Trebon by spending most of our time away from the hotel.
