Hotel Bílý Koníček

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size with a walk-in shower. We like the tradition of a small hallway with space for coats and outdoors shoes between the main door and the bathroom and bedroom. We had asked for a quiet room, and we were given one over the carpark on the side. It was not noisy. The breakfast buffet was okay - average for this kind of hotel. Not included in the price of the room, but not expensive.

The breakfast room is too small to accommodate all guests at the same time if the hotel is busy -even sharing tables. One coffee machine is totally inadequate, and you have to stand in line to get a cup of coffee. There is a sign on the bedroom door that tells you that your room won't be cleaned automatically every day and that if you want it cleaned or want new towels, you have to inform reception. We don't mind using the same linens for 3 nights but in a hotel one could expect the bathroom to be cleaned and the bin emptied each day. The check-out time is 10.00. We asked if we could have late check out till 11 or so and were told we could, but it would cost an extra 200 Kc! The hotel is in a building which is one of the most historic in Třebon's main square. It's the only one that doesn't appear to have a had a recent coat of paint. The inside of the hotel is drab and dingy. The carpets are old and worn. The windows need repainting/revarnishing. There seems to be an issue with enough electrical outlets on the walls because in the room and in the breakfast room there were extension cables everywhere. In our small room there were three sets of extension cables! Really surprising was half eaten plates of food left on the counter top in the entrance hall, where crockery and cutlery are stacked for the outside tables.

Na pokojíčku nebyl stůl ani židle a parkování i mimo sezónu se platí navíc. . . .9

Hotel přímo v centru Třeboně, využíváme opakovaně.
