Staff was very courteous and the services were very good.

We stayed twice in a matter of 7 days at Clarks Collection. We chose to stay at Clarks Collection as we were fairly happy with our stay the week before. They are centrally located and have designated parking space (which was essential for us). For our return journey we had to change our booking last minute and could book a twin bed room as was available and the quality of the room was excellent. I was bummed that they did not have a double bed available but you can't help with that since they were fully booked. The room had a fresh feel, very clean, well maintained. The room was well stocked with tea/coffee, kettle, complementary water bottles. The restroom was adequately spacious, very very clean and had a stock of toileteries. The restraunt serves fantastic food. We ate vegetarian meals and found the food to be of very high quality. Having driven around Gujarat and Rajasthan extensively in this trip, I can say, we have not had better quality food in our entire trip and that says alot. We took both our meals at the hotel being happy with the quality of the food. Lastly, the people working at Clarks Collection Vadodara are fantastic bunch and are providing amazing service. The manager (apologies, I am forgetting his name) leading the management is doing an excellent job with his team. Everyone in the team was very attentive, supported us to get our car clean (at a nominal charge) which was definitely not part of their job description. They helped with hotwater bags as I wasn't keeping well and since we were starting from Vadodara early morning even packed us a box of sandwiches with compliments. While we were happy to pay for the sandwiches but the manager humbly declined and offered the box of sandwiches as gesture of taking care of us on our onward journey to Pune. You don't see such service and attention to detail in the hospitality industry these days.
