We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Scherer. The host was friendly and helpful, the room and facilities were well appointed and the dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Highly recommended!

Hotel Sherer was almost perfect! Overall, I highly recommend this spot as it is dead center from everything you would want to do around the Dolomites. A hour away from Val di Funes, Tre Cime di Lavardo, Lago di Brais, Lago di Carezza, and All of the other beautiful hikes in the area. The staff was unbelievably amazing and in my opinion they made the experience. They were all so friendly, so helpful, and so nice, and they want to make sure you are having a good time. The breakfast was great and even though we didn't do dinner, it looked good, AND they gave us a stacked list of amazing restaurants all around the area. The rooms are cute (I would definitely request to try and stay in a room with a view as we didn't get one) and are cleaned daily. The showers are always hot and the beds were comfy. There was plenty of storage for clothes, toiletries available, and outlets for your electronics. We had a car (and yes I HIGHLY recommend a car as it makes everything easier and honestly I loved driving) but they gave you free passes for busses and any info on how to travel.

The room was small and we had absolutely no view. I wish we could have had some bigger windows and a better view overall as the Dolomites are so pretty. The hot tubs did not get hot at all and were a waste. I truly think if the room was a little bigger and if it had a better view this would be a 10.
