The Art Hotel by VIA VARANASI

The property was beautiful and serene. Full of peace and some different home like feeling it gave.

The toilet flush though was not working properly. Hope it would have been fixed by now.

I recently stayed at The Art Hotel via Varanasi and had a very disappointing experience. The service was terrible, with no one attending to calls at the front desk. In the morning, there was no coffee available, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, the room was not neat or well-maintained. To make matters worse, the cutlery provided had rotten food on it, and they did not have any water bottles available. Furthermore, there was a sewage smell inside the room, making the stay even more unbearable. We never argued with the staff because we were there on a business trip and didn't have time to complain or argue. After all this, I simply requested the hotel for a late check-out as compensation since the hotel rooms were available anyway. The staff straightaway declined my request and asked us to pay extra for the late check-out. Overall, it was a very unpleasant stay, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Expected it to be much better hotel, was more like a modified homestay

The AC was functioning very well which was good. The room was clean.

The restaurant is expensive for value. There was no AC in restaurant and front desk. The room was small.

Location is almost 1 km away from the ghat. Either you stay to closer to the ghat or at this price you can get a 5 star accomdation away from teh ghat
