Gully Ghar is a special place. Located very close to the Ganges River ghats, it’s perfect for exploring Varanasi. The hotel owner was incredibly kind and helpful — assisting me with taxi apps, explaining my daily itinerary, and sharing so much valuable local knowledge. I received great recommendations for tourist places, restaurants, boat rides, and things to do, which truly enriched my experience in Varanasi. This felt less like a hotel and more like staying with someone who genuinely wants you to have the best journey possible. Outstanding experience. 10/10.

A melhor parte é a equipe. Todo mundo muito acolhedor, simpático, cuidadoso e bonito. Estava um friozinho gostoso, então o café da manhã no terraço era lindo e delicioso. Limpo e cama confortável. Eu adorei a localização. Da pra fazer tudo a pé e a rua é bem tranquila, mesmo com o barulho da cidade. Só evite ficar no quarto em frente à recepção, ouve-se tudo que acontece do lado de fora e o sono fica complicado sem abafadores.

La ubicación es muy buena, el desayuno es rico y es la habitación tiene todo lo necesario. Te puedes mover a pie a los ghats y como se encuentra dentro de una calle cerrada, el lugar es muy tranquilo ideal para descansar.

Alt! Helt fantastisk sted. Dejligt værelse. Alt rent og indbydende. Personalet var utroligt hjælpsomme - hjalp blandt andet med at få forsinket bagage fra Delhi bragt hele vejen til Varanasi. Venlige og informative. Gjorde meget ud af at få gæster til at føle sig som familie. Varmeste anbefalinger for dette sted🤩

Struttura collocata nel cuore di Varanasi a due passi dall’ASSI GHAT da cui osservare le cerimonie dell’alba e del tramonto. Il proprietario Saurabh è davvero accogliente e ti aiuta ad organizzare alla perfezione il tuo viaggio, dandoti anche chicche per non avere intoppi. La colazione è ottima. Tramite la struttura abbiamo organizzato un giro all’alba sul Gange (che consigliamo) ed una visita guidata per visitare le parti nord e sud della città (consigliatissimo). La nostra guida (Wiki, originario di Varanasi) ci ha condotto tra vicoli ed angoli nascosti facendoci assaporare la vera anima della città e facendocene innamorare, oltre che averci portato il posto veramente squisiti per provante le prelibatezze del luogo (tra cui il blue lassi che ci è rimasto nel cuore). Se potete chiedete di andare in giro con lui!

Currently staying at Gully Ghar, Banaras, and it truly feels like home. I travel a lot, but the hospitality here is something rare. The owner Saurabh and his brother Vikky are incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. It doesn’t feel like a hotel at all more like having breakfast at your own home🤌♥️ If you’re looking for a place with warmth, comfort, and genuine care, I highly recommend this stay🖐

We loved the generous warm hospitality of Saurabh, Sweet, their children and Wiki. Everyone was lovely to us and made us feel very welcome. We arrived tired after the 'sleeper' train from Delhi and they kindly let us leave our bags and have us breakfast. We slept so well and felt completely at home. Delicious breakfast and lots of information - not only about the things to do and see but also sharing their life stories. Our perfect stay in varanasi.

Everything was great and I know that if anything goes awry they will sort it.
