Duy Ninh Hotel

Location is great. Wonderful and soft beds. Clean and nice.

Rooms are not cleaned if not asking to. QNo one speaks a word of English, only a seldom seen manager (i think he is) who welcomed me. LOUD Cunstruction noise at 8:30 AM. Light in bathroom can't be turned off. VERY awkward toilet doors (narrow wardrobe doors).

. * Good location. * Soft beds. * Friendly and service minded staff. * Elevator - Even though slow and overcrowded. * Cleaning okay.

. * No one speaks English, not even on the simplest level. I had to call a VN friend for translation. * First room had exhaust fumes coming into it from outside. Aircon's outside unit sounded like a jackhammer after 20-30 min. Turning it on and off again solved it for another 20-30 min and so on. Slept with earplugs So, next day i got a different and much better room. Good service when they eventually understod the problems. * I stayed here a few years ago and was very happy with my room back then, but now rooms are a bit worn, fittings are loose, walls are a bit tarnished, water leakage on bathroom floor. So the hotel is due for some love and overhaul i think. * Empty minibar, only had cold water. * Awkward "wardrobe doors" into the bathroom.
