It's off the beaten track. Matress and facilities are ok. It's a small guest house with old but clean 1960's look. Make sure you check it out in person, before you book. Don't book this if you are looking to feel at home or to be welcomed.

Staff was unacceptable. Check in was very impolite. You felt like it was a nuisance to be present. Staff appeared overworked and did not enjoy their job. Breakfast was offered until 9 am. Directly at nine, you were not able to finish your plate, but you were actually asked to leave the premises. The door was locked behind us. I have stayed in many places around this area, both for work and leisure. This is definitely not the place to choose.

The bed was comfortable .

The attitude of the owner, spoilt the stay. When we arrived at 19.00. We weren’t given any information as the owner was working in the restaurant so we had to go and find someone to check in. We had to ask about everything eg what time was breakfast. No internet code given etc also if we wanted dinner the kitchen closed at 19.30. Dinner menu looked very appetising. Salad bad looked very nice. My meal arrived and Unfortunately it was not cooked.when we told her she argued with me and stated it was the ham that made the pork look undercooked. I have eaten enough corden blue dishes to know the difference. My husband ordered a rum and coke and a beer arrived ,again when we pointed out the error , she argued the point. Fortunately a man sat at the next table actually told the lady he had heard us order a rum and coke. No apology was given at any time, in fact the opposite we were made to feel very uncomfortable. At breakfast also we felt uncomfortable. Based on the way we were made to feel I would not stay here again , neither would I recommend it to anybody else.

Excellent welcome and clean rooms,

Set in a lovely location, owners were very friendly and helpful and our evening meal was delicious. The room was large and very clean. Breakfast was good too.

If I have to give a negative, it would only be that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Nothing. My stay was loveless. Booking had offered a discount for the stay with the difference being taken care of by Booking according to the receipt. At the end of my stay, the hotel owner blocked my car in the parking lot as Booking hadn't paid him anything and demanded that I pay the full amount. We called Booking to clear up the matter. The Booking customer support technician said I should pay the full amount even though I had already paid the discounted amount and then told me that I would be reimbursed the full amount later. After paying and leaving, I reached out to Booking and they emailed me that they would only reimburse me the original discounted amount which I had originally paid before the stay. Overall, Booking lied to me about reimbursing me the full amount and refuses to honor their original agreement.
