Villa Hillcrest Weligama

Stunning location! The hut was spotless and the outdoor bath was incredible after a day spent in the rain. The staff were attentive and they made our stay special. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were well worth the price.

We loved our room and our stay here, the food was amazing which made it so difficult to leave the hotel, the swimming pool was refreshing it was nice to wake up and jump in the pool first thing. They helped us calling tuk tuks to go to the town and also they helped us bringing someone up to make henna ❤️ we loved the doggos here, they’re so cute and playful Get a Tuktuk on the way here, not a car because the road is very steep and narrow

המקום היה ממש נקי עם נוף מדהים. הצוות היה מאוד אנושי ואכפתי, במיוחד הבעלים שהיה ממש נחמד ודאג לנו להכל. שוב, נוף מטורף שמוסיף המון למיקום בשהייה בוויליגמה. אוכל מאוד טעים.

המחירים של האוכל היו קצת גבוהים מהרגיל וזמני ההמתנה לאוכל טעוני שיפור

The whole vibe is very surreal experience that you can’t get in many places. We loved the hotel and the staff and facilities were amazing. They helped us with anything we needed and we spent 5 days here which we enjoyed. You could hear and see all sorts of wildlife and great views. They sorted bikes & transportation out for us and it was worth the experience. We also liked everything was just put on a tab and you could enjoy everything you needed without needing to worry about paying. Although we didn’t indulge in their own cuisine it did look really nice and we would of if we stayed longer!

Unfortunately we were unaware that the toilet isn’t boxed in at all and is just covered by a shower sheet. This wasn’t so much an issue for me and my partner but still we enjoy our own privacy and shouldn’t have to wait outside when wanting to use the bathroom. People in newer couples would hate this and I think just having an actual toilet room boxed off would make the room so much more appealing. The only other small issue (wasn’t a massive issue but nice for people to be aware) the location of the hotel. Very hard to get to and nearly impossible to walk so you either have to rent a bike or use a tuk.. the gravel road at the bottom is all broken and we nearly came off our bike a few times trying to get up. You also have to drive through a hectic local buildup of Weligama to get the beach front and that was an experience itself (no issue of hotel just good for people to be aware of if not confident manoeuvring around themselves).

Très belle vue sur la nature de weligama. La piscine privée était notre coup de cœur. Personnel accueillant et à l'écoute avec une réponse aux questions très rapide. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable.
