The room was very quiet despite being a few step from the old town. The rooms are spacious and perfectly clean, the beds comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet too.

Good location for the old town.

Couldn’t keep the windows open because of noisy traffic during day, late night, and early morning as well as the stench of the irrigation ditch outside. Because we speak little German we weren’t treated as well, but they do have one English speaker that is sometimes available. She was very nice and informative.

The service didn't include air-cooling system but they lent me a fan. "fantastic!"

the wifi barely reach the room. I had to get out of the room to get signal.

This is a great little hotel and is the third time I have stayed here whilst visiting the Willisau Christmas Market. The rooms are situated in an adjacent new modern building and the rooms are large, well-appointed with modern excellent bathrooms. You need to leave this building to get to the actual hotel, but it is a matter of a few metres away. The hotel itself was built in 1907 and is in a more traditional Swiss style. There is a contrast between the rooms and the hotel that reflects the building method and time. Breakfast is of a simple continental style but appropriate.
