Hotel Casa Mixteca

Fantastic location, little hidden gem nestled in Zipolite. The beds were super comfortable and air conditioning worked well, as did the ceiling fan. Otherwise no frills. Would definitely come back.

The bathroom smelled a bit like drains, that’s the only thing. But otherwise it was perfect.

It felt like stepping into the enchanting world of "Hotel California". Beautifully rustic decor and a relaxed vibe that perfectly matched the scenic ocean views. However, the true highlight of my stay was the incredible staff. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my experience was exceptional. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made my visit truly memorable! The beach is within a 2 minute walk away and about 8 minutes to the main boardwalk road.

More amenities or small touches would've been appreciated.

In the center of Main Street in town. Air conditioner works great very cold and dependable. Very clean with friendly staff

No hot water but this is common throughout facilities in this small town from what I heard from others. Towels were very rough. Felt like sand. Need fabric softener.

We enjoyed the good energy and the fact that this cute hotel is run by women. They were all very helpful and the property is safe, has a family run vibe, it’s Mexican and they provide clean drinking Water. Everything was very clean upon arrival, we had to wait to check in but were able to store luggage’s. I especially loved that it’s a very friendly and trustworthy environment. It was also peaceful and quiet.

The bathroom had an oder and it wasn’t easy to air out as the window had no net. So bugs would come in at night. They could fix it simply by putting a net on the bathroom window. Then could be more airy.

Casa Mixteca is a lovely hotel, perfectly located in Zipolite along one of main (but not busy with car traffic) roads and a block from the beach. The attention to detail in design and decor is wonderful. As noted in other reviews, there is a bar next door, but staff provide ear plugs (if needed). I can definitely recommend staying here on a trip to Zipolite!

Great location

The bungalows are great however there are 2 of them without AC. Also the stairs to the 3rd and 4th floor are quite a challenge, so reduced in size
