Great location and setting, very good value and friendly staff.

Finish of rooms getting a little tired and dated.

Good location, room was nice and clean very spacious, breakfast was very good served nice and hot good choice

Would of liked information in room regarding TV instructions ( it was difficult to navigate channels) would of liked a menu in room for choice of room service and restaurant timings

L’hôtel est très bien situé pour faire de la randonnée. La réceptionniste était très accueillante. Nous avons eu une belle chambre avec nos chiens, nous étions très content. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux.

Lovely room, great location for access to the Cumbrian Way. Fab breakfast and good evening menu.

The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff were polite and helpful

The hotel decor was extremely dated and the room was not particularly clean. The TV didn't work. The shower was either freezing cold or red hot, there was no in-between. We didn't have a meal but breakfast was a disgrace. Instead of a breakfast my wife and I requested a bacon sandwich. We received 2 rashers in 2 slices of plain white bread.

Location and value for money. Good for solo traveller

In need of a refurbishment Breakfast was quite poor

Lovely peaceful location, fantastic staff, lovely food and bar. Would definitely recommend.

The roads were scary in places, especially when you met a bus or lorry.
