GBWe loved staying at Almohalla 51. A cosy room, roaring log fires in the lounge, delicious food but more than anything, the welcome we received from Jo, Ken and Barry the lurcher. Archidona , is a perfect jumping off point for Malaga, Granada and Seville, set in stunning countryside.in all we cannot recommend it too highly and we hope to visit again soon.

DEThe hosts were very nice and helpful and made us feel at home. The room was warm and there was also a fire every evening in the main area which was wonderful as we were there in December. There were good restaurants nearby to eat and this was a convenient location to explore the surrounding area. The outside courtyard is very charming and the hotel only has 5-6 rooms which we liked
The room was dark, and there were very steep steps to access the room, Although very well renovated, this is an old house so that was to be expected. The parking is public parking in back of the property and we are not sure if this is always available.
FRFirst of all and the most important - excellent communication with hosts: if you wanted them to be present they were there, if not - they were discretely staying aside. This hotel is more than a hotel, you really feel being at home away from home. Super place to chill around - a lounge with chimney, relaxing music, board games, drinks and cake available all day long. Outside terraces with views. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice bed linen and towels, super breakfast. Archidona - fantastic spot to stay in a small, cozy town and explore beautiful places around. Definitely will be back to enjoy more of the region and of the Almohalla 51!
There was really nothing that we didn't like. But for people with mobility issues and families with small kids it is important to note that there are many steps within the hotel, and some openings would be difficult to pass with baby equipment.
GBLovely hotel with a really nice pool. Perfect to either have a relaxing break or visit many of the towns and scenery on its doorstep. On one of the nights we are in the hotel and can’t recommend the paella highly enough
GBThe location was perfect to explore Andalusia. A really fabulous and quirky place to stay. Authentic Spanish decor. A real home from home. Nothing was too much trouble.
