Cavern Resort & Spa

We’re usually not resort people, but we made an exception here and didn’t regret it at all. The whole place is so well spread out that it never feels crowded. All the walkways, spaces and the food options are fantastic, and the people are just lovely, whether at the activity desk, in the restaurant or Simon at the gate. It was a real pleasure to spend three beautiful days there. There’s so much to do, and the hikes starting right from the resort are absolutely stunning, so you never get bored. The dogs and cats living there are also super friendly and will happily join you for a walk. We’d love to come back.

Location is perfect, amazing views, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Wine tasting was lovely, great entertainment facilities.

The food was devine but the menu was limited in variety. This could be better ( e.g. full English breakfast) and more options for lunch and dinner. Walls are thin and can hear the neighbours.

The location with guided walks, excellent accommodation, great service. Met some lovely people there.

It was pricey, massage and laundry were not available on Sunday and should be available for a 7 day operation and dinner wasn’t always good. Steak was hard. However, it was overweighed by other factors.

Exceptional location and serene with stunning views. Lovely main building and quality food.

Can only complain about the weather which was not great during our stay
