Baratha Hotel & Resto

I did not have the chance to “like” anything.

We had booked 2 “De Luxe” rooms. Nowhere in the description on Booking.com was there any mention that these rooms did not have windows and were located in a hangar or a warehouse. We are not earthworms and we need to enjoy natural light. So we asked for refund if our Credit Card charge and immediately left for another (nicer) place in Bondowoso.

Locaties not central. Staff speak hardly a word english. Communication very difficult

Great hotel. It is very clean. The rooms are big enough, particularly the apartment. The food at the restaurant was great. The staff provided packed breakfast because we left early for Ijen trek.

Hmm. No elevator.

Quiet location, country roads, distant mountains and padi fields just outside great for morning walks. Helpful security guards carried our luggage.

Big steps to 2nd floor might be a bit much for older folk. No problem for me.
