Hotel garni Am Hochwald

The room was quite spacious and the use of the tee station was complimentary in the Hall

The beds were worn out, the breakfast ist way over priced,

Not a brand-new designer 5 star hotel but cosy, clean, nice staff, good beds, lovely view from the balcony. Nice bathroom. Great value for little money. Nice region for walking, ski, sauna.

Renovation of the floor and outside paint work will surely happen one day!

Very comfortable and very affordable overnight stay, in an adorable location. It was wonderful to wake up and watch the sunrise from the balcony. Great to have access to free coffee and tea at all times. Everything was clean and lovely. We felt very welcome.

It is a bit of a walk up the hill from the town centre but its located in a quiet and very peaceful area, not far from a bus stop (that did not run when we visited, + no information about the transport in the town in general was available online or was inaccurate). Clean bathroom, very comfortable beds, enough furniture to pack out if you wish, nice view into the garden. Coffee and tea, cups and spoons in the hallway at all times. Theres double door between the hall and the bedroom, one of which has a large mirror – very useful for sure, but I got scared every time I opened the first door thinking theres is someone else opening the door from the other side too, haha.

It was a bit hard to air out the room and bathroom despite large windows in the bedroom. Located a bit further form the town centre on the hillside.
