Good location and quiet accommodation

Great location, everything is in short uber-distance. It’s safe to walk to the supermarket and the restaurants nearby. The staff is super friendly and the beds very comfortable.

Parking issues. I didn’t have a car this time around but I’m sure I would have been frustrated if I had one as parking is limited.

I arrived on Saturday, 23 May 2026, for the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon, and the location was ideal—just a few steps from the stadium, which was a definite advantage. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. I shared the room with other runners, and after the race, I returned, freshened up, and went to sleep. The next morning, when I wanted to go out for a run, I noticed that my race T-shirt was missing. I searched the room thoroughly, and the other runners assisted, but we were unable to find it. I reported the matter to reception; however, there was little concern shown from their side. I explained that only one person had checked out and requested that they contact her in case the T-shirt had been packed by mistake, but they indicated that she was not answering their calls. This incident significantly affected my overall experience, and I regret choosing this accommodation. The T-shirt was definitely not in the room, and the cleaning staff also confirmed they did not find it, which suggests that it may have been taken either intentionally or unintentionally by one of the occupants.

I lost my Sanlam Race T-shirt and when I reported it no-one seemed to care.

The location was excellent, just across the street from the main event. A kitchen, sitting room a bedroom and separate bathroom, you don't get a lot of establishments with that.

No lift, no live TV.

Location is perfect for those doing Cape Town Marathon . 👌🏼
