Oceanway Boutique Hotel/Conference

Nice Area, the Hotel itself is nice and could have potential. The helpers were very friendly. Unfortunally it seems like they are not allowed to do more then cleaning, help with luggage etc. by the owners. Following negative aspects do Not refer to these poor guys. They were great.

The owners/Bosses weren‘t good hosts. Unfortunally for them, I am aware of the hotel business, because I work in this sector myself and this was by far the worst hotel we stayed in SA. They Did not know, that we arrive at this date. She was very unfriendly, First mumbled only in Chinese. Their english was horrible. At check-out no one except the helpers was there and as mentioned they were not allowed to do check-out. We had to wait 20 Minutes until we could Go outside way.

Our room was nice, clean and comfortable.

Upon our arrival, the staff were almost surprised to see us! There is a huge language barrier as most of the staff can't really speak or understand English. My request for an iron was met with such a bemused look - it was almost funny.. When we queried breakfast, we realized breakfast was not an option with our booking, and was then also told that the establishment doesn't serve breakfast, which I thought was very strange. At 09h58, the next morning, there was a knock on our door. I opened - the male staff member tapped on his watch and said two words "check out". Although check out times are from 10h00 until 10h30, it was obvious they wanted us out asap. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience.

Absolutely amazing! They made our honeymoon the best ever and Robert was suuuper friendly and helpful throughout our stay! THANK YOU Ocean Way💘💘💘

Breakfast was just good, The location was great. But I was expecting an air-conditioned room.
