Parking and breakfast

The room could have been cleaner, but I’m very fussy 😉

Price was excellent and will stay again if stays at a similar rate, free parking and availability if register inside, room was very comfortable, with a modern traditional flair, clean, heater works just by pressing a simple on/off button, tea/coffee kettle and had everything needed even in a single room, bathroom was spacious and good water pressure, bar had a variety of alcoholic drinks for a reasonable price and my favourite: draft Pepsi max, breakfast was included and excellent for a small hotel, not much but had all you need from cereals to cooked food and was satisfying for us, staff were pleasant and very helpful and accommodating.

1. An improvement at breakfast would be a coffee machine for various types like hot chocolate, mochas, lattes etc. 2. Not an issue for me as young, and my mum just managed the stairs but there is no lift, this might not be possible to install in such a small hotel but could maybe be improved by a stairlift? though not sure if possible.

Value for money. Alright for a quick 1 night stay. Bathroom was large.

The place was a bit tired and run down. You can't really go to sleep until the pub downstairs is closed as there's too much noise coming from there, so if you want a quiet stay this probably isn't for you. Breakfast not good (had clearly been 'kept warm' for a couple of hours) and the staff didn't really bother with you.
