Finnygook Inn

After a very late booking the staff were brilliant, it was lovely to arrive after a long days travelling. Thank you all.

Really nice pub in a great location, arriving from the coast path at the end of a long hot day the staff made me very welcome with a cold drink. Lovely room with a view over to Plymouth Sound and great food. Would definitely stay here again.

Had to go somewhere else

Check in was fine, and we were welcomed in. We had a spacious room (no. 1) and was very nice. Lovely views over the countryside. Free onsite parking. Breakfast was good.

Having walked the South West Coast Path all day, it was a bit disappointing to find that, unfortunately, we couldn't eat in the pub as it was Sunday and they don't do evening meals on a Sunday. There were no hooks in the bathroom and a shelf to put things on would have been useful.

Limited vegetarian options for dinner.

The staff at the Finnygook were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was so delicious, we had the vegaterian Full Cornish and were sat overlooking the beautiful view. The room was spacious and had all the neccessary amenities. We slept soundly in the quiet of the countryside.

Everything was top notch: the staff (we've upgraded your room to have a bit more space) to the clean and large room with bathtub, to the comfortable bed, to the wonderful food! Highly recommended!
