We loved the location, room and view, the hot tub was perfect

The staff were not accommodating, the food certainly wasn’t up to standard. I found a hair in my prawn cocktail to be told that it wasn’t from the chef so it must have come in the prawns.. they sent it back and gave me 1/2 a plate of prawn cocktail. The salmon was overcooked and drowned by the sauce. Overall our meal was borderline inedible. The wine that was offered by the glass wasn’t to standard either. I think if you are paying for a room that is luxurious and it’s surroundings are exactly that you should be getting the same luxury when dining.

Un magnifique hôtel avec beaucoup de charme et une atmosphère d'un autre temps. On se croirait presque dans un roman d'Agatha Christie !

Rien de très palpitant à voir à Doncaster, mais une étape exotique sur notre chemin grâce à cet hôtel !

Set in beautiful grounds. The house is just gorgeous.
