The location is the only thing good about this place

Front desk staff, especially Maria, was very unhelpful. Her way of checking me in is by pointing at a form and telling me what to write, no hi or hello. Wifi didn’t work when I got to the room and phone reception is POOR TO NONEXISTENT inside the room. I asked her if they could reset their routers because I couldn’t even use mobile data in my room. All she did was tell me that 1) the wifi must have been reset that morning, because they usually do that in the morning and that she works a night shift (we were talking in the afternoon, so what is she even talking about?), 2) they need to ask the owner for permission to reset the wifi, and 3) they need to ask for the guest in another unit for permission to reset the wifi. I told them resetting the wifi wouldn’t block everyone from logging back in, but she just said she still needed to ask for permission from another guest who was not even in their unit that day. Maria also told me that her phone also doesn’t have cell reception and that her wifi connection is also poor, and then proceeded to stir her drink and eat in front of me while she watched Youtube videos/Facebook reels on her phone, completely ignoring me when I was seated in front of her. What kind of customer service is that??? I had to get in touch with Booking.com Customer Support to get this sorted because there was no one else at the front desk to offer help. Booking.com was able to speak with them about the reception issues and the unfriendly staff and they told Booking.com they’ll get it sorted, but no one from the staff came over to reach out to share if their issue’s been resolved. Honestly, shittiest service I’ve had in Dumaguete. While the room is as advertised, beware of the toilet! There’s a reason it’s not included in the pictures. Their shower curtains and bidets are moldy. The toilet floor was wet when I arrived. The water pressure is inconsistent and laughable. Overall, I am only happy that I get to stay here for just 1 night.

The breakfast was great especially the coffee. And as for the location, it is located in a less noisy and crowded street yet close from downtown, so I could say that it's the best location to settle with.

Nice clean room, looked welcoming. Aircon worked well. Location was good. Easy walk to the town and other places to eat.

Restaurant was a little pricey for the portions you received. Ended up eating else where after ordering food and received 1/8 of a potato, I strand of capsicum and 2 small pieces of chicken in a curry chicken I ordered.

where do I start? Management were hostile, only one cleaner ever spoke to us. I asked for a blanket for the bed as there was only a sheet and was told I would have to pay for it, the rooms would only be cleaned after two nights of staying there which meant bathroom waste sitting in the bin for two days, the rooms are above a restaurant which hosted extremely loud parties with guests often running up and down the corridors outside of the room at all hours, although not the hotels fault, the building next door was under construction and noise started at 8am every morning. It would have been nice to have been told that and maybe offered complimentary ear plugs or just a ‘sorry for the inconvenience’. The room smelled damp and musty and the furniture was out dated. My girlfriend and I did not feel welcomed at all and felt uncomfortable every time we had to pass through the restaurant (the only exit) as the manageress was extremely rude. Very disappointing stay, unsure why this establishment has been rated so highly previously.
