Golf Hotel Mergelhof

that was a Golf hotel and Im not a golfman so the hotel extra golf service the green and the shop and service I think that was ok but very close to the 3 border good maze and family fun

Clean sheets, beautiful grounds, morning staff offered to help me w bags, fresh fruit for breakfast

Where to start, my kettle was filthy, our room had 1 window w no mosquito netting and no fan so all night we played the game of eaten alive by mosquitoes or sweat profusely. The evening staff watched me, 6mo pregnant w a toddler on my back and 4 bags get everything up the stairs without an offer to assist.

Beds are very hard, you can hear everything when your neighbor uses their toilet.

Very idyllic and quiet location, good food at the restaurant, basic breakfast

Room was in general dirty (spider webs on the ceiling, walls with dead insects, floor dusty). Could use some renovation, but most importantly, cleaning

Good shower. Breakfast excellent. Room cleaned daily. Quite location. Receptionist helpful to us.

Really nice place, bit far away from most things (unless you like golf) and tucked just under the Dutch border, which suited my preferences perfectly. Affordable and comfortable. I arrived rather late, so I had to check in at the bar and was lucky/thankful that the restaurant still served a decent spaghetti + soup at 8.30.

Everything was comfortable, though you could say that the shower might need some paint/upgrade. I couldn't find (out about) a bike shed, but I put mine in the ladies dressing room :-)
