Terrible location and an unprofessional manager who needs proper hospitality and etiquette training. One guest near my room was drunk and making too much noise.

Narayan and his staff cheerfully provided all of our expectations. The airport shuttle was a cost effective travel choice. Our flight was delayed and Narayan and the driver tracked our flight. It was wonderful to see our name in a sea of unknown faces upon arriving in an unknown country. The rooftop garden area was an exceptional place to share our last delicious breakfast in Nepal. I highly recommend Narayan and his staff at Hotel Family Ties!

I like hotel staff reception and service so customer friendly .

i had to do late checkout. they agreed for 2 hours .then another 2 hours they allowed me to sit in restaurant

breakfast they try to limit the portions . if they want to do that they should write. rooms were very small

The service was excellent. Room service was efficient and punctual. Breakfast had a reasonable spread and the quality was good. Every request was attended promptly by Mr. Narayan, the Manager.

The supply of hot water was not as smooth as we would have liked. There is no lift and hence one had to climb stairs.

We had a wonderful stay here in Kathmandu! From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The owner was incredibly kind—he was actually waiting for us at the airport when we landed, which made our arrival so smooth and welcoming. Throughout our stay, he helped us organize transportation and taxis, making it really easy to get around the city. The hotel itself is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the place nice for guests. Everyone on the staff was helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu: it truly felt like a home away from home.
