Beautiful piece of island paradise to enjoy and soak in the peace of nature. The people like all over Indonesia are very kind and helped us organize taxis and a snorkeling tour hosted by the property itself. There is a small coral garden on the property and a beautiful sunrise. We enjoyed the snorkeling tour spotting loads of fish, 2 turtles, and some patches of brighter, healthier coral. The food was also nice so we didn’t feel like we needed to leave. They do a great job of keeping a beach front property like this clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return with our family!

If you come during rainy season don’t be surprised to see trash in the ocean like it would be all over South East Asia. The business owners try to keep it clean and it’s nice help.

Accommodation Alam Karang on the island of Gili Gede is a perfect place for anyone looking for peace, relaxation, and an authentic atmosphere بعيد from crowded tourist spots. The owner, originally from France, is incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming—just like the entire staff, who take care of guests with genuine warmth. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing lime drink, which was a lovely start to our stay. A big advantage is the possibility to rent a kayak and snorkeling equipment, allowing you to fully enjoy the beauty of the surrounding sea. For more active guests, there are also boat trips to nearby islands, which are definitely worth it. The food is absolutely excellent—especially the desserts, which we truly loved and looked forward to every day. Drinking water is also available, which is very convenient and appreciated. Overall, this is a place with a wonderful atmosphere where you can truly relax and recharge. If you are looking for a peaceful paradise away from the crowds, Alam Karang is a fantastic choice. Staff were all fantastic, Danny went over and above to help. Accommodation onto the beach (like all of Indonesia could do with a bit of a clean) great room and large outdoor bathroom. Food all freshly cooked and more than enough variety for the week we were there. 2 lovely snorkelling trips and a day tour around some of the sites of Lombok. Highly recommend.

Beach and village could do with a tidy up.

Tout ! L’endroit est paradisiaque, les chambres ont vue sur mer et les pieds dans le sable. Le personnel est adorable et hyper dispo, bref un service 5 étoiles ! On a adoré pouvoir faire du snorkeling directement depuis la plage de l’hôtel, en nageant sur 30m on aperçoit des coraux bleus et pleins de poissons tropicaux + ils prêtent masques/tubas et chaussures d’eau. Allez-y les yeux fermés, on serait restés 2 semaines en plus si on avait pu :)

Le restaurant de l’hôtel est bon mais un peu cher pour ce que c’est, surtout qu’il y a pleins de warung hyper sympas dans le village à côté (15min de marche).

L'accueil de Marie était fantastique et son personnel est très chaleureux. Le lieux est idyllique. La sortie snorkeling avec Marie est l'un de nos meilleurs souvenirs.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They arranged a snorkel trip and also the boat and car to our next destination. Loved the bungalows on the beach, listening to the waves at night and the beach sunrise in the morning. Nice food too!
