We loved the location and the rooms were super comfy! The staff was also very kind and helped us throughout our trip.

We wish that the bathroom was a little bigger in one room. It was quite small.

When visiting Jaisalmer it is a MUST to choose a hotel within the Fort. The very best is Hotel Victoria, Room No. 2, because it has one of the very rare balconies (spacious enough for a couple in love) where you can pass the afternoon & evening hours, enjoying your dinner and/or a cold Kingfisher and watching the busy life down in the city. All the rooms are very cosy and individually furnished. The hotel staff, mostly young Nepali, is very friendly and helpful. English is well understood.

That's not about what we didn't like, but you should know that within the Fort you can't get NonVeg Food, in most places Brahman food which is not allowing onions & garlic. But be ensured the Veg food is very tasty. The roof top area could need an improved sun & rain protection.

A balcony divan with a view to die for off a well-decorated room in a turret near the top of Jaisalmer Fort. Excellent food, helpful and attentive staff and good things to do and see nearby. Rajasthan doesn't get much better than this.

The very noisy festival on the street below for much of the first night was surprising, but this is India. An emailable map showing the precise drop-off/pick-up point outside the main gate would save confusion for out of town drivers.

The hospitality and the warmth of the owner (Pankaj) who ensured that we have all the delicacy of Jaisalmer. Amazing property inside the fort, maintained very well. The owner helped us to find the best guide.
