Friendly staff and great location

The whole experience was horrific. When I first arrived I was given a room where the sheets hadn't been changed. Was covered in hairs and food. I was then upgraded to a different room, whereby during the night, I was severely bitten by bed bugs and vacated the premises at 3am in search of a safe place to sleep. Do not stay here

Newa home is much more than a hotel...it is warmth and welcoming people, attention and helpfulness to make your stay really very pleasant...I was travelling with my bicycle and they kept my box safe with my belongings until I returned from my adventure...it is located in a really good spot, far from the chaos but at the same time close to every shop or restaurant within walking distance. I had a really good time and I highly recommend it!

Location is very good, the stuff is nice and helpful and it's very clean. It's probably the best budget hotel I stayed in KTM so far.

The location was in Thamel which has plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Its also not too far away from the main road where taxis can take you anywhere in Kathmandu.

The properly is beginning to show its age, need some minor renovations. Aside from this, all other facilities were working as expected.
